Gerard Harrington

Gerdie is the President and past Chairman of the Beara Historical Society, founded in 1986.
In 1999 he was selected as Beara Person of the Year.
He is currently contributing the weekly section of Beara and District News to the Southern Star and occasional articles under the title ‘Down Memory Lane’, a series much loved not only by the people of Beara but also by many readers in Boston
