Patrick Guiney (North Cork), James Gilhooly (West Cork), Maurice Healy (North-east Cork), D. D. Sheehan (Mid Cork), and Eugene Crean (South-east Cork).
The other MPs elected in January 1910 were: - William O'Brien (Cork city), John O'Donnell (South Mayo) and Timothy Michael Healy (North Louth). Elected in December 1910 was John P. Walsh (South Cork). Maurice and Timothy Healy were brothers

Although Southern Ireland won Dominion Status on the 6th December 1921, the United Kingdom retained control as sovereign bases, three deep water ports in Ireland. Known collectively as the Treaty Ports, these were respectively, Castletown Berehaven, Lough Swilly and Queenstown (Cobh)

Lace Making Group. 1906vu 339 foisA Lace Class was started by the Congested District Board, Castletownbere on the 10th March 1906. Miss Mary Roche was the first teacher. At a later date this industry was taken over by the Sisters of Mercy. The Industry flourished; employment and training in machine knitting and in the making of Limerick Lace were given to many girls in Beara. The lace Class was discontinued in the late 1940’s.
