Biography (A little about yourself) My husband's grandparents and their families are all from Bere Island and Baltimore, Ireland. John O'Sullivan and his wife Kate (nee Logan) moved to the US about 1923 with their 2 eldest children. They joined one of John's brother's living in Elizabeth, N.J. Here they had 2 more children before moving to the Detroit, MI area where John worked as a pattern maker for Ford. They resided in Monroe, MI at the time of John's death in 1936.

Kate and the children were taken to CA to live with Kate's brother & wife, Johnny & Mae Logan. Johnny worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.

20/09/08 à 18:25According to family documents , John O'Sullivan b. 1895 was a cabin boy aboard the Ierne. His uncle, Mike O'Sullivan was the chief engineer aboard. If anyone can steer me to this ships roster so I could get a copy I would be ever so grateful.
